Former John Charcol director joins new commercial advice firm

Yellow Stone Finance has appointed Mike Lawton as a senior client relationship manager.

Yellow Stone Finance launched last month and provides independent advice for clients who want property or business funding, including development finance, investment property, bridging finance, commercial mortgages, mezzanine finance, asset finance, invoice discounting and trade finance.

Mike has worked in the mortgage industry for more than 25 years, with roles at Black Horse Agencies and Royal & Sun Alliance Property Services, before moving to John Charcol where he became national sales director.

Mike joined Which? Financial Services as managing director in 2012, growing the business from a pilot scheme to completing more than 600 mortgages every month, before setting up his own advice firm in 2017.

Mike Lawton said: “I’ve worked in this industry for my whole career, making many friends and contacts along the way, and I decided to join Yellow Stone Finance to work with Miranda and her team because of the huge focus they place on providing quality advice and great customer outcomes. It’s been a great journey so far and I’m looking forward to working with like-minded people in this well-established team.”
