Ian, who has over 40 years of experience within the commercial lending sector, will lead in supporting Cornerstone Commercial’s portfolio of larger SMEs, helping to secure larger, complex finance deals.
Ian worked for NatWest for over 40 years, latterly as broker development manager and lending director for Wales and the South West. He joined Cornerstone Commercial back in January last year as operations director, building and implementing systems and processes to support the growth programme across the Cornerstone Group.
In his new role, Ian will oversee all larger funding requests, working alongside the Cornerstone team to understand business needs in the short, medium and longer term, ensuring that any finance deal is structured appropriately. He will personally manage many cases from the outset through to completion.
Cornerstone Commercial is part of the Cornerstone Finance Group, consisting of commercial finance, commercial insurance, wealth, finance and protection.
