Rob Love and Nick Warren have been joined by Chris Pedlar, Paul Mansell, Andy Keehner and Mike Walters. Rob, Nick and Mike will focus on bridging, looking after their existing contacts and developing new ones. Mike will be introducing the Bank’s bridging offer to brokers in Wales and the South West.

Chris, Paul and Andy will introduce UTB’s mortgage and bridging products to brokers across the country. Chris will cover the Midlands, Paul the North and Scotland, and Andy will serve brokers in East Anglia and London.

Jigar Patel will continue as Key Account Manager, assisting brokers with training and compliance matters for the mortgage side of the division.

In addition to developing the team of BDMs, brokers will also see other changes to support the growth of the combined Mortgages & Bridging division. UTB is continuing to develop the online Broker Portal, streamline its internal processes and make the best use of technology to improve communication and boost responsiveness.

Jo Edwards, Business Development Director – Mortgages & Bridging, commented:

“I am delighted to introduce UTB’s new BDM team for Mortgages & Bridging. We have exciting plans for the future, and these guys have the skills, experience and drive to help us achieve the substantial potential we see from taking UTB’s products and services to brokers across the UK.

“Brokers appreciate our competitive pricing and swift turnaround at initial enquiry resulting in quick, reliable credit approved decisions. These are the cornerstones of UTB’s service, so combined with changes designed to deliver a slicker, more streamlined process from DIP to drawdown, brokers will have even more reason to recommend UTB for their clients’ bridging needs. With our new BDM team out on the road supported by talented underwriters and case managers back in the office, I’m looking forward to seeing UTB grow its Mortgage & Bridging business significantly over the next few years.”
