SME lender Growth Street appoints Chief Technology Officer

Alternative SME lender Growth Street has appointed Nick Stevenson as its first Chief Technology Officer.

Stevenson joins from GoCardless, where he was VP of Engineering. His previous experience includes Amazon Instant Video, LOVEFiLM and the BBC, where he worked on the iPlayer service.

Growth Street’s P2P marketplace facilitates loans to growing SMEs. The business is also building a suite of automated tools with the aim to help SMEs manage their cash flow and working capital.

Stevenson will lead Growth Street’s technology team, helping to scale up their flagship lending product, GrowthLine, as well as developing products that can help SMEs manage growth.
