The new panel sees existing business partner Omega joined by master brokers Synergy and Connect for Intermediaries to help brokers make the most of the significant opportunities in the commercial loans space.

With all three master brokers being members of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers, the proposition will support advisers with a first-class service, access to the best rates in the market and the benefit of an alternative source of income that offers intermediaries a similar fee level to if they wrote the business themselves.

Paul Hopton, Relationship and Development Manager at Legal & General Mortgage Club, said:

“Legal & General Mortgage Club is committed to being a one-stop-shop for our broker partners, no matter what their mortgage need may be.

“The opportunities in the commercial lending space are growing fast, and with the PRA’s changes to portfolio buy-to-let fast-approaching, more brokers will be looking to commercial loans to help their clients gain access to the funding they need. We are delighted to welcome Synergy and Connect onto our Commercial Loans panel alongside our existing partner Omega. We firmly believe this new panel forms an attractive proposition of master brokers to help intermediaries gain access to best rates in the market.”

Piotr Twaits, Sales Director, Synergy, said:

“Synergy are delighted to be partnering with L&G Mortgage Club to provide its members with access to commercial funding options. We have developed a close working relationship with L&G Mortgage Club and see this partnership being a strong addition to what the club offers its members and their clients.

“Club members will have the opportunity to further deepen relationships with their clients, and open up new revenue streams for themselves. We are excited to see this relationship grow, and look forward to meeting club members to see how we can help.”

Liz Syms, Managing Director, Connect for Intermediaries, said:

“We are really pleased to be recognised by Legal & General Mortgage Club for our specialisms in both commercial and development mortgages.  Legal and General is very particular about who it appoints to its panels so it is rewarding to be recognised as a leading packager in these areas.

“Connect for Intermediaries has been arranging commercial mortgages and development loans for many years and so we are in the perfect position to help L&G broker members, whether it is their first commercial or development enquiry, or an experienced adviser looking to offer great lender choice to their clients. We look forward to working with L&G brokers to ensure that their clients always get the most suitable and most cost-effective mortgage for their needs.”

Mark Jones, Director, Omega Group, said:

“We are delighted to continue as an Approved Partner of the Mortgage Club, and have enjoyed working both with the Legal & General team and also all members of the Mortgage Club since being added to panel in 2009. We look forward to continued growth of the successful relationships already built over this time in what is our 25th Year as a Commercial & Specialist Finance Broker.

“On a personal note, I look forward to further developing the partnership with both the Legal & General Mortgage Club team and members in ensuring we deliver the most suitable terms available to meet the growing financial requirements of businesses and investors, via Mortgage Club members.”
