Jordan is Managing Director of specialist B2C broker Adapt Finance, based in Manchester and specialising in development, bridging and commercial finance. Having started in estate agency in 2008, Jordan learnt the property business from the inside and went on to found Adapt Finance in 2013.

Last month, the Association appointed three new members to its Executive Committee which it said reflects a wider geographical spread, with two of the new members based in Wales and the North of England.

An AOBP spokesperson commented: “We are delighted that Jordan has agreed to fill the last vacancy on our Executive Committee. We now boast a team whose bases of operation are representative of a much stronger regional focus which will benefit all of our members. This is an exciting time for us. Members and the wider lending market can expect to see plenty of innovation and new ideas from our new look Executive Committee over the next 12 months.

Jordan McBriar said: “For us, the AOBP is the driving force behind the industry, allowing small businesses to grow alongside more established ones as well as maintaining service standards. We have been that small business and now we look forward to providing more support to the ones who wish to expand and develop.

"Personally, it is a huge honour to be asked to join the Executive Committee as I believe I can add a youthful, energetic drive to the group whilst being able to share my experience of the current evolving market.”
