Metro Bank SME Finance expands team

Metro Bank has today announced the appointment of John Nelson as Head of Invoice Finance at Metro Bank SME Finance.

John will be responsible for leading the invoice finance sales team towards their substantial growth plans over the coming years, as well as managing key introductory sources. He will report directly into Richard Saulet, Director of Metro Bank SME Finance.

John has had a distinguished 15 year career in the asset-based lending industry, successfully leading teams including Lloyds Commercial Finance, GE Capital and Royal Bank of Scotland. Prior to this, John held a number of roles at Lloyds Bank, including in branch and within the SME and commercial lending function.

John Nelson commented on his new role:
